This training focused on critical aspects of  ESG Fundamentals: Mastering ESG reporting, compliance, and Greenhouse Gas accounting, organized by Empower Element. This comprehensive training equipped me with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to navigate the evolving landscape of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting, and other vital areas such as GHG accounting and TCFD compliance, enabling me to effectively assess and disclose climate-related risks and opportunities.

This training provided a hands-on, real life experience of gathering and analyzing data to get an accurate understanding of a company's Greenhouse Gas output. We also practiced climate-risks and opportunities scenario planning, which is a critical skill all companies need to make informed business decisions that consider the impact of the climate crisis.

Because of this training, I was able to offer consulting experience to support an international media company through their B Corp certification process, which required gathering and analyzing large amounts of complex data. Additionally, I worked on the company's CDP disclosure, which shares their environmental impact publicly as well as S&P Global's disclosure creating an ESG rating for the company on the S&P index.
